The FideO Guarantee System

FideO is built on a community-of-trust model inspired by traditional savings groups (tandas, susus, ROSCAs). Every Member is guaranteed by two existing Members who personally know the applicant.

How it works:

1. Two Guarantors Required — Each guarantor must be an existing FideO Member in good standing. They attest to knowing you personally.

2. KYC Verification — Both you and your guarantors complete identity verification. Guarantors provide details about how long they've known you and the nature of your relationship.

3. Ongoing Accountability — Your behavior on the platform (contract completion, dispute record) reflects on your guarantors.

Why? This system creates real accountability. FideO measures character, community trust, and mutual responsibility.

Can I upgrade later? Yes. Associates can upgrade to Member status at any time once they find two guarantors.
